The Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance (KEDA) is a private-public partnership local economic development organization serving Baraga, Houghton, and Keweenaw Counties. KEDA provides leadership and staffing to implement the Keweenaw Economic Dev. Strategic Plan with the goals of fostering business growth, improving infrastructure, revitalizing our communities, developing and attracting talent, and enhancing cultural and recreational opportunities. KEDA with a 20 member Board of Directors representing local government, area Chamber of Commerce and private sector, works collaboratively with local, regional and state organizations and agencies to start, grow, and attract companies that will increase the wealth of the region through a holistic and collaborative strategy that builds on the assets and opportunities present in the region.
