Snow & Trail Report

Report Date: January 16, 2017

The past 2 days it has been very sunny which makes it very nice ride on the trails. We made it to the top of Moose Mtn. Yay!! Slowly getting there so please be patient. Some areas are still lacking snow but everyday it is getting better. This week coming is going to be very warm so we will groom when we can. Please make sure if you do ride that you use caution and watch for water holes and rocks or even trees across the trail.

Big Bay Snowmobile Trail #14

Conditions: Very Good       Date Groomed: 2017-01-15       Snow Base: 12"-18"

Trail Notes:
Beaver area has been taken care of just stay on trail when you are near it. Will be logging on about a 1 1/2 of trail - signs are posted

Alston Snowmobile Trail #159 to #8/15 to #109

Conditions: Good       Date Groomed: 2017-01-14       Snow Base: 8"-10"

Trail Notes:
Trail is in pretty good shape

Nestoria Snowmobile Trail #15 to #8

Conditions: Good       Date Groomed: 2017-01-15       Snow Base: 8"-10"

Trail Notes:
The whole trail finally was groomed. There is a reroute behind Alberta so pay attention tot he signs in there. Make sure you hike into Canyon Falls

Chassell Snowmobile Trail #15 North

Conditions: Poor       Date Groomed: 2016-12-02       Snow Base:

Trail Notes:
Groomer didn't make it - got stuck about a mile before Arnheim road. The groomer is out but not the drag so please watch for it. Please watch out for waterholes and some trees down closer to chassell. Did get a lot of the trees removed and water holes are starting to get solid.
